Inspired by the rustic, the whimsical, and the artful, these “English garden” floral arrangements were designed for an intimate reception event in Vancouver.
When the Western Front contacted us to design three floral arrangements that were, in a word, “different” but also part whimsy, part rustic, and inspired by the English garden, we couldn’t resist. In fact, we were eager to feature our floral design skills using interesting containers as well as some of our favourite ethically-purchased and sustainable botanicals.
Our largest arrangement to date was designed using a vintage brass pedestal vessel, florals and greenery from two different florists, and a handful of sundries from our own garden. Some of the florals included: yellow mums, white cherry blossom, red and yellow protea, and rose snapdragon. A medium arrangement was created specifically for the welcome table and incorporated a corrugated metal container adding an interesting contrast to the rustic kale and coral tulips. The smallest of the arrangements was a continuation on the theme of the artful English garden and featured delicate pale green tulips, blush pink stocks, and slightly budded cherry blossom branches.
“All & Sundry created three floral arrangements for our event. They were beautiful and exactly what we had envisioned. We were very pleased with the overall experience—Amy was professional, worked with our tight timeline and kept well within budget. On behalf of Western Front, thank you!”
